Strategic Account Manager - Federal

LVT builds AI-driven intelligent site technology that makes physical sites smarter, safer, and more secure. We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager focused on the Federal vertical to hunt and close new federal contracts, grow existing accounts, navigate complex procurement, and serve as the primary advocate for federal customers across product and deployment teams.

Skills

  • Proven federal/government B2G sales experience
  • Deep knowledge of federal procurement processes (GSA, FAR, contracting vehicles)
  • Demonstrated ability to close complex, multi-million dollar deals
  • Technical literacy to explain AI, IoT, and cloud security solutions
  • Advanced Salesforce or CRM proficiency
  • Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel ~20–35%

Responsibilities

  • Source, pursue, and close new federal contracts to drive revenue growth within the government sector
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with federal stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Identify upsell and account expansion opportunities within existing federal customers
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, and deployment teams to meet federal compliance and operational requirements
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, RFP responses, and renewals in line with federal procurement rules
  • Monitor account health, maintain pipeline accuracy, and report on revenue targets
  • Track federal policy, budget cycles, and competitive landscape to inform go-to-market strategy
  • Advocate for federal client needs to influence product roadmap and service standards

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant certifications or ongoing professional training preferred
