Emerging Accounts Manager

Airship is a digital engagement platform trusted by leading brands to deliver unified, cross-channel customer experiences. The Emerging Accounts Manager will manage the full post-sales lifecycle for a high-volume portfolio of low-ARR customers, executing standardized onboarding, adoption, and renewal playbooks to protect revenue and increase renewal predictability at scale.

Skills

  • Experience in customer success, renewals, account management, or SaaS support
  • Comfort managing a high-volume portfolio with structured workflows
  • Ability to consistently execute within defined processes and playbooks
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and clear written/verbal communication
  • Pattern recognition across many accounts to identify risks and opportunities
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and maintaining accurate account data

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point of contact for a large portfolio of emerging accounts
  • Own full post-sales lifecycle including onboarding, adoption, and renewals
  • Manage and close high-volume renewals using defined processes and playbooks
  • Execute standardized onboarding and adoption motions with programmatic outreach
  • Monitor customer health using product usage, engagement, and support data
  • Deliver value reminders tied to core use cases and outcomes
  • Identify common risk, churn, and adoption patterns and surface repeatable expansion indicators
  • Escalate non-standard risks or complex deal structures to appropriate teams
  • Maintain accurate account, health, and renewal data in CRM
  • Share trends and insights with CXM, Sales, and Operations to improve scaled motions

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant experience in SaaS customer-facing roles may substitute for formal education
