Mortgage Account Manager

Lendz Financial is a modern direct wholesale residential mortgage lender focused on simplifying the lending journey for mortgage brokers through tech-forward solutions and white-glove service, particularly in the non-QM space. We're seeking a proactive, customer-obsessed Mortgage Account Manager to serve as the primary broker-facing contact, drive loans from submission to close, and collaborate across sales, underwriting, and operations to ensure a smooth, timely experience for brokers and borrowers.

Skills

  • 1–3+ years experience as a Processor or Account Manager in mortgage lending
  • Tenacious follow-up and strong task ownership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and professionalism
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM/LOS platforms
  • Ability to learn non-QM products and lending guidelines quickly
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfort with remote work and occasional travel for training

Responsibilities

  • Provide white-glove service to brokers from submission through closing, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Manage active loan pipelines alongside Account Executives and Underwriters to keep files moving.
  • Review, sort, and convert underwriting conditions within 24 hours.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce and internal systems.
  • Anticipate broker questions and send proactive follow-ups and status updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Underwriting, Closing, and Funding teams to resolve issues.
  • Learn non-QM products and guidelines to quickly troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Share process improvement ideas to elevate service and operational efficiency.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
