Customer Success Manager, Commercial

Chainguard builds hardened, secure, production-ready open source software to help organizations eliminate supply-chain risk. We're hiring a Customer Success Manager for the Commercial segment to own post-sales relationships, lead technical onboarding, drive product adoption, and ensure customers realize time-to-value while collaborating closely with Solutions Architects, Support, Product and Sales.

Skills

  • 2+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Customer Success, TAM, Professional Services, Technical Support or similar)
  • Domain familiarity with Supply Chain Security, DevSecOps, AppSec, containers or security infrastructure
  • Experience engaging technical and executive stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts with high autonomy and strong prioritization
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and influencing engineering/product without direct authority

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical onboarding and implementation plans for new commercial customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from engineers to CISOs
  • Drive adoption, time-to-value, and churn mitigation through proactive engagement
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Technical Support, Product, Engineering and Sales to resolve issues and escalate appropriately
  • Coordinate training and education with internal Edu teams to enable customer teams
  • Act as customer advocate internally to influence product and support priorities
  • Identify renewal and expansion opportunities and partner with Sales on account strategies

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
  • Willingness to pursue continuous professional development in security and cloud-native technologies
