Skills
- Strong knowledge of the consumer products industry, specifically food
- Proven account management and field sales skills
- Existing relationships or experience selling to Huchens
- Relationships or experience with Alliance
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to travel minimally (under 20%) for trade shows and meetings
Responsibilities
- Create and execute regional or account-specific sales plans to meet/exceed quotas and revenue targets
- Engage regularly with existing customers to assess needs and position product solutions (maintenance, new item submissions, promotional support)
- Build and maintain long-term, productive relationships with new and existing clients
- Provide consistent, timely communication and responsive client support
- Collaborate with internal teams (Client Partnership, Marketing, Insights, Client Services, Business Support, AR) to ensure elite client management
- Attend required national trade shows, market sales meetings, and client-specific meetings
- Approach responsibilities with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
Education
- 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- Relevant coursework or experience in sales, marketing, or business preferred
