Key Account Manager - GI - Mid-Atlantic

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is a privately held specialty pharma company focused on developing and commercializing patient-centric medicines across multiple therapeutic areas. The Key Account Manager (GI) will be a field-based commercial leader responsible for developing and executing IDN/super-group account strategies to drive access and utilization of Azurity’s Gastroenterology portfolio across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of IDN, super-group, and health system dynamics
  • Proven negotiation and value-creation skills with D-suite stakeholders
  • Experience in clinical pathway development and implementation
  • Strong data analysis skills to interpret utilization and performance metrics
  • EMR/workflow integration experience and implementation planning
  • Established relationships and credibility in the Gastroenterology therapeutic area
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned geography

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive IDN Account Business Plans focused on growth, market access, and integration of the GI portfolio.
  • Create and maintain customer stakeholder maps to align internal and external teams and identify growth opportunities.
  • Engage and negotiate with D-suite and senior IDN decision makers to co-create long-term value and implementation strategies.
  • Analyze IDN performance data and utilization trends to design targeted pull-through and pathway adoption tactics.
  • Partner with pharmacy, field sales, market access, and medical affairs to support EMR integration, training, and workflow implementation.
  • Facilitate launch planning and oversee execution to ensure seamless pathway development and adoption across health systems.
  • Serve as the voice of the IDN customer internally by providing market intelligence to inform strategy and product launches.
  • Conduct strategic reviews with senior leadership and coordinate cross-functional resources to meet account goals.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech experience with experience in commercial/IDN roles
  • 2+ years engaging D-suite leadership within super groups or health systems
