Responsibilities
- Develop and implement reliability test strategies for new products and subcomponents to minimize early-life failures and maximize field life
- Design, validate, and automate environmental, mechanical, RF, and electrical tests tailored to product functions
- Write and maintain test programs to exercise product functionality across conditions and environments
- Define and maintain ongoing reliability testing to monitor manufacturing and detect long-term defects from component/process variability
- Monitor production ramp-up quality using analysis tools and drive corrective actions for underperforming metrics
- Investigate production and test failures to identify and mitigate root causes and reduce reliability risk
- Contain and provide guidance on non-conforming product, quarantine, and rework activities
- Collaborate closely with hardware, software, manufacturing, and network engineering teams to maximize cross-discipline reliability
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline (required)
- Relevant internships or project-based experience considered
