Customer Success Manager SR

Sagent is a SaaS-based mortgage servicing and fintech firm focused on simplifying loans and homeownership. We are seeking a Staff Customer Success Manager to oversee project delivery, manage customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and handle contracts across assigned accounts while ensuring operational clarity and customer satisfaction.

  • Proven project management capabilities with strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills.
  • Experience identifying sales opportunities and supporting account growth.
  • Contract management and governance experience.
  • Ability to manage schedules, budgets, scope, and operational risks.
  • Comfortable on camera for virtual meetings and willing to travel up to 20%.
  • Collaborative, organized, and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage project schedules, scope, risks, and budgets to meet customer goals.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customers, providing day-to-day support and guidance.
  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and forward upsell or expansion opportunities to account managers.
  • Manage short- and long-term service contracts, ensuring compliance and customer expectations are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and subcontractors to deliver on customer requirements.
  • Escalate and resolve issues proactively, maintaining operational control and clear communication.
  • Support onboarding, implementation, and continuous improvement activities for customer accounts.
  • Participate in customer-facing video meetings and travel to customer sites as required (~20%).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3 - 4 years of related professional experience (customer success, project management, or account management).
