Amplify is seeking a Project Management Director for Strategic Initiatives on a contract basis to lead high-impact projects focused on operational excellence and organizational change within the EdTech sector.

Compensation: $86 - $86 / Hourly

The Project Management Director, Strategic Initiatives will be responsible for leading high-impact projects focused on operational excellence and coordination, process transformation, and organizational change management. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in project management, print and digital operations (ideally with a background in edtech), and is a proven leader who can work effectively across teams to achieve transformation outcomes on defined timelines. This role will report directly into the Vice President, Product, Development & Portfolio Strategy.

**This is a contract position.**

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support the development of critical transformation initiatives at Amplify, including 
• Driving and coordinating investment business decisions, memorializing ROI, scope, delivery timeline and critical decision points for major product lines.  
• Rolling out a cross-team organizational planning calendar, blending the 40,000 ft view of end-to-end launch with key deep dive milestones to achieve commercial and operational readiness.

Required Qualifications: 

• 8+ Years of Experience: Proven experience leading project management or operations teams in an EdTech, publishing, or SaaS environment.
• Expertise in project management and product development methodologies: Deep fluency in Agile/Scrum for software and Waterfall for physical production. 
• Technical & Operational Literacy: Comfortable using (and configuring) advanced PM tools like Jira, Smartsheet, and Airtable.
• Strong background and understanding in EdTech, particularly relating to print and digital handoffs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Excellent verbal, written, and data-driven communication skills, with innate ability to drive strong reporting and communications for both executive and other stakeholders, including % completion  
• Proven ability to work across complex projects and manage cross-functional stakeholders 
• Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this role is $86.50.
