SpendHound Channel Sales Manager

YipitData is a market-leading data and analytics firm and the creator of SpendHound, a fast-growing vendor management and benchmarking platform. SpendHound is scaling rapidly and seeks a Channel Sales Manager to own and grow relationships with outsourced finance partners, drive partner-sourced pipeline, and help define the playbook for a scalable partner motion.

Skills

  • 3-5 years partner/channel sales, alliances, or business development in tech or services
  • Proven ability to hit targets through indirect channels and manage partner pipelines
  • Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience building GTM motions and partner enablement materials
  • Comfortable with outreach, referrals, and co-selling with partners
  • Experience using CRM for forecasting and pipeline management (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Self-directed, proactive, and able to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary relationship manager for an initial portfolio of outsourced finance partner companies and scale to more partners over time
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies and co-marketing/referral workflows with partners
  • Drive partner-sourced opportunities through targeted business development, referrals, and outreach
  • Own customer targets tied to partner-sourced pipeline, including forecasting, pipeline tracking, and meeting monthly/annual goals
  • Define and document a repeatable playbook for partner enablement, onboarding, and scalable operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to equip partners with training, tools, and resources
  • Monitor partner performance, report key metrics, and implement initiatives to improve outcomes
  • Act as an internal advocate for partner feedback and continuous improvement

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Relevant professional training or certifications in sales/partnerships are a plus
