Principal, Talent Management Programs

Voyager is a defense, national security and space technology company delivering mission-critical solutions. The Principal, Talent Management Programs will design, implement and own enterprise talent management and performance systems (Workday-enabled), build a structured succession framework, and lead the annual talent review process to drive workforce planning and leadership development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end annual and semi-annual performance review cycles including goal setting, mid-year check-ins, and year-end evaluations.
  • Configure and administer performance workflows, templates, and rating scales within Workday Talent & Performance.
  • Build and operationalize a structured succession planning framework to identify critical roles, assess bench strength, and develop readiness pipelines.
  • Lead and facilitate annual talent review processes using 9-box methodology, including preparation, facilitation guides, and post-review action planning.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on talent management best practices, competency frameworks, and performance/succession methodologies.
  • Develop Workday reporting and dashboards to deliver talent analytics supporting workforce planning and retention strategies.
  • Create and maintain competency frameworks and career pathing resources to support development and internal mobility.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to integrate talent management processes with broader People and business strategies.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field (required)
  • Advanced degree in related field (preferred)
