Senior Sales Director - Walmart

The Wellbeing Collective (WBC) is a Global Business Unit within Unilever managing high-growth health & wellness brands including OLLY, SmartyPants, Welly, and Onnit. We're seeking a Senior Director of Sales – Walmart to lead the Walmart sales organization, drive strategic customer partnerships, and scale commercial performance while coaching and growing a high-performing team.

Skills

  • Extensive CPG sales experience with major retailers, preferably Walmart
  • Proven people leadership and team development skills
  • Strong P&L ownership and trade budget management
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with retail partners
  • Experience with eCommerce and omni-channel retail strategies
  • Data-driven decision making and analytics capability
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Strategic planning and consumer-focused commercial thinking

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Walmart Sales team across all Walmart channels to maximize growth and operational execution
  • Develop and execute Walmart annual business plans and collaborate on the ASP process with Walmart stakeholders
  • Build strategic customer partnerships and represent WBC brands as a trusted partner to Walmart
  • Align cross-functionally (brand, marketing, supply chain, finance) to deliver AOP and promotional plans
  • Enhance processes, data utilization, customer insights and sales best practices to improve performance
  • Drive eCommerce sales strategy and customer experience improvements within Walmart digital channels
  • Lead annual cross-functional planning and manage trade budget/P&L accountability
  • Recruit, develop and mentor sales talent to build a high-performing, collaborative team culture

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
