Solutions Engineer, SELECT by DoiT

DoiT is a cloud-first technology company that helps organizations optimize and scale their Cloud Data Platform usage through data, technology, and human expertise. The Solutions Engineer, SELECT by DoiT, will lead technical engagements focused on Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery optimization, driving technical discovery, POVs, demos, ROI analyses, and successful technical closes for prospects across the US East region.

Skills

  • Deep expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery and Cloud Data Platform best practices
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS products related to observability, optimization, FinOps, or data integration
  • Strong data analysis and ability to derive actionable insights from product and usage data
  • Proven ability to build compelling business cases and ROI justifications
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
  • Experience leading POCs/POVs and technical selling in competitive B2B SaaS environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical qualification and discovery with Account Executives to assess Cloud Data Platform environments and cost optimization goals.
  • Own and manage technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) exercises, including POC preparation and outcome delivery.
  • Tailor and deliver SELECT platform demonstrations that address prospect use cases and technical concerns.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses that quantify cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for SELECT and guide smooth technical implementations.
  • Take ownership of the technical win, addressing requirements and building technical confidence in the solution.
  • Represent DoiT and SELECT at events and conferences with presentations and demos.
  • Capture and translate customer feedback into actionable product inputs for R&D and roadmap discussions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in internal systems to track activities and outcomes.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent hands-on experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable
