Pharma Account Manager

Cellanome is a well-funded startup building next-generation single-cell and high-dimensional biology platforms to address major challenges in biology and drug discovery. We are seeking an experienced Pharma Account Manager to drive adoption of our platform within pharmaceutical and large biotech accounts, working closely with discovery and translational research teams to align our technology with complex research workflows.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of drug discovery workflows and cell biology applications.
  • Familiarity with single-cell analysis, genomics, or high-dimensional biology platforms.
  • Proven track record closing complex, high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills for both scientists and business leaders.
  • Territory and strategic account management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Drive platform sales and adoption within pharmaceutical and large biotech accounts.
  • Build and manage relationships with discovery scientists, translational researchers, platform leads, and procurement.
  • Identify opportunities where single-cell analysis accelerates drug discovery and mechanism-of-action studies.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for multi-group pharma organizations.
  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and tailored on-site engagements.
  • Manage long sales cycles and complex, multi-layered decision processes.
  • Collaborate with field applications scientists, marketing, and product teams to support pilots and adoption.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and customer records in CRM.
  • Travel up to 60% to support customer engagements and on-site activities.

Education

  • Degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred for certain experience combinations.
