Solutions Engineer - job 1 of 2

Bearing is building the first physical security operations platform native to ServiceNow, unifying disparate security systems to improve incident detection, response, and resilience. We are seeking an early-stage Solutions Engineer with deep physical security domain expertise and full-platform fluency to accelerate sales, deliver tailored technical demos, and ensure customers realize rapid value from pre-sale through onboarding and expansion.

Skills

  • Proven pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical sales experience in enterprise B2B SaaS
  • Direct experience with enterprise physical security systems (access control, video, identity ecosystems)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform and commitment to obtain ServiceNow Administrator certification within six months
  • Strong demo, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to design integrations and workflows that map security operations to deployable ServiceNow solutions
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ship customer-driven features

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customized product demonstrations that align features to each prospect's pain points and use cases.
  • Act as the technical authority in sales engagements, answering questions and liaising with Product and Engineering for technical validation.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Managers to design technical strategies that shorten deal cycles and enable expansion.
  • Support post-sale implementation and hyper care, providing technical guidance and coordinating custom work with Engineering.
  • Capture and relay customer feedback to inform roadmap priorities and product enhancements.
  • Maintain and contribute to technical documentation, FAQs, and case studies to support sales and customer success.
  • Train and mentor team members on product technicalities and domain-specific best practices.
  • Travel approximately 25% for conferences and on-site customer meetings.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Security Management, or equivalent experience preferred
  • ServiceNow Administrator certification required within six months of hire
