Group Sales Manager

Angel City FC is a mission-driven professional women’s soccer club creating engaging, equity-focused experiences for fans and communities. We are seeking a Group Sales Manager to own group ticket revenue, lead a small sales team, build strategy and pipeline, and deliver best-in-class group experiences that convert first-time buyers into lifelong supporters.

  • Proven group sales leadership and team management
  • Strong outbound prospecting via phone and email
  • CRM proficiency and pipeline forecasting
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Data-informed decision making and reporting
  • Event coordination and gameday execution
  • Comfort working nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute group sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of 1–2 Group Sales Account Managers with clear goals and feedback
  • Oversee full group sales lifecycle: inquiry, allocation, payment processing, and post-sale service
  • Build and maintain a leads/contacts database and forecast pipeline health
  • Collaborate with Director of Ticket Sales and Marketing on strategy, campaigns, and group products
  • Execute outbound outreach to priority segments (youth soccer, schools, corporate, ERGs, nonprofits)
  • Train staff on prospecting and effective group sales techniques
  • Attend external events to drive on-site group sales opportunities
  • Coordinate with Service and Operations to ensure seamless gameday group experiences
  • Step in on high-value or complex deals and drive performance for key matches and group nights
  • Use CRM and data insights to prioritize leads, improve conversion, and inform decisions

Education

  • No specific degree required; relevant experience in sports sales or ticketing accepted in lieu of degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related field preferred but not required
