Supervisor, Implementation - Payments

Lightspeed is a leading provider of cloud-based Dealer Management Solutions (DMS) serving powersport, marine, RV, trailer, and golf car dealerships across North America. The Supervisor, Implementation – Payments will lead a cross-functional implementation team to deliver payment facilitation solutions, drive onboarding success, and own client retention and satisfaction for a portfolio of dealers.

Skills

  • Proven experience leading and coaching implementation or client-facing teams.
  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting mission-critical solutions in retail or dealership environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage escalations and resolve complex technical or operational issues.
  • Familiarity with DMS platforms, payments integrations, and hardware rollouts (preferred).
  • Performance and metrics-driven approach to operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Implementation Specialists, Project Managers, and Hardware Specialists.
  • Manage people functions including performance reviews, coaching, career development, and day-to-day leadership.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex dealer issues and coordinate timely resolutions with stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Implementation Manager to track team performance, delivery metrics, and operational goals.
  • Identify process gaps and drive improvements to raise implementation success rates and dealer outcomes.
  • Own client retention and dealer satisfaction across the team's portfolio, including testing, configuration, training, and go-live support.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant professional certifications or training are a plus.
