What We Offer

Location & Schedule
This position requires on-site work Monday through Friday at the Field Maintenance Center, located at Denver International Airport (27500 E 80th Ave., Denver, CO 80249).
Standard working hours are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, though these may vary.

The Denver International Airport Field Maintenance team is responsible for the upkeep of the 53 square mile airport site which includes the airport operating area and street side area, in accordance with the FAA, State, and municipal rules and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, all repairs and resurfacing of runways and taxiways in accordance with FAA guidelines. Other responsibilities include snow removal operations, maintenance of ramp areas, vehicle service roads, perimeter fencing and gates, airfield painting, street side access areas, and landscaping.
Denver International Airport is looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive professional who can confidently manage contractor performance, maintain strong compliance standards, and keep operations running smoothly across multiple field maintenance programs. Strong communication, data tracking, and team‑coordination skills, especially during fast‑moving situations like snow events—are essential for this role.
Specifically, as the Field Maintenance Program Administrator you will:
On-site and day to day administration of assigned Field Maintenance service programs such as tunnel and curbside cleaning and others
Facilitate meetings with contractors and field teams to review performance and vendor compliance, safety and security protocols.
Review monthly performance and billing statements, Issue formal escalation notices when necessary to address performance or compliance concerns.
Maintain internal reporting processes and ensure timely data sharing across relevant departments.
Coordinate and monitor all work performed by contractors to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Conduct compliance checks, quality assurance inspections, and audits to verify contract fulfillment.
Track, order, and process invoices for snow operations materials using the current online monitoring system for Landside operations; support Airside tracking as the system becomes available.
Support internal field maintenance programs by analyzing data and performance of programs and making recommendations for improvements to department managers
Snow Operations Duties (October–April, Weather-Dependent):
Support Airside operations during snow events, with assignments dependent on weather conditions.
Document contractor performance metrics through collaboration with Field Supervisors.
Coordinate with the Fleet team on equipment availability, ensuring accurate updates on units sent for repair or returned to service; communicate status to the Equipment Coordinator after snow events.
Maintain thorough snow event documentation, including:
Rosters of Personnel and equipment
Estimated vs. actual snowfall totals
Compliance tracking and audit results
Coordination with Snow Liaisons, Supervisors, and contractors to ensure operational effectiveness

Three years of experience acting as a program administrator/manager or a subject matter expert overseeing multiple contracts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and potentially other relevant software, such as GIS or asset management systems
Strong organizational skills, ability to learn and problem-solve
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Management, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, or a related field.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of professional or technical level experience planning the administrative aspects of a program(s) or training program participants and/or volunteers. (Some positions may require experience in a specific program area.)
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
License/Certifications: Requires certification in CPR/First Aid at the time of application or by the completion of probation.
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
