Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing national team of Account Directors, set strategy, goals, and performance expectations.
- Serve as senior relationship owner for a national portfolio of payers including regional health plans, PBMs, MACs, and state Medicaid agencies.
- Develop and execute tailored payer engagement strategies to drive formulary placement and favorable coverage policies.
- Optimize prior authorization criteria and influence coverage policy development across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid channels.
- Translate field customer insights into commercial strategy, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Patient Services, Pricing & Contracting, and Legal.
- Monitor and interpret the evolving payer landscape and make contracting recommendations within established parameters.
- Represent the company externally with senior payer stakeholders and internally as a subject matter expert on local payer dynamics.
- Manage up to 60% travel as required to support national payer engagements and team oversight.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent) preferred.
