Supply Chain Master Data Project Manager
Skills
- Proven master data governance and framework development experience
- Project management skills for cross-functional initiatives
- Advanced Excel for data manipulation and reporting
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and WMS
- Data analysis skills, ideally with SQL and/or Python
- Experience identifying automation and integration opportunities (APIs)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in supply chain master data domains (suppliers, materials, inventory, BOMs)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the Master Data Governance Framework and associated policies for supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, Supplier Portal, homegrown apps).
- Lead cross-functional master data projects including data cleanup, standardization, and harmonization across multiple platforms.
- Define and document stewardship roles, responsibilities, and workflows with Master Data Analysts, IT, and Supply Chain leadership.
- Establish, track, and report KPIs and metrics to monitor master data health and drive timely remediation.
- Perform root cause analyses and implement sustainable process improvements to prevent recurring data quality issues.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities (APIs, integrations, tools) to improve master data management efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage project plans, timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Facilitate training, workshops, and change management to improve data literacy and embed governance practices.
- Collaborate with system owners and business partners during implementations and upgrades to ensure master data standards are integrated.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (required)
- Master's degree or advanced certification in related discipline (preferred)
