Skills
- Strong embedded C programming for resource-constrained systems
- Experience with microcontrollers and sensor integration (analog & digital)
- Firmware development in bare-metal and RTOS environments
- Proficient with hardware debug tools: JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
- Hands-on experience with common bus protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232/485, Ethernet)
- Board bring-up, schematic review, and cross-disciplinary debugging
Responsibilities
- Develop low-level firmware and reusable device drivers for microcontroller-based systems
- Architect and implement system-level firmware features that scale across products
- Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning electrical, firmware, and higher-level software
- Select microcontrollers and peripherals and review schematics with electrical engineers
- Own complex firmware features and lead board bring-up and validation activities
- Concurrently contribute to multiple projects across different development stages
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
