DevOps Engineer
Skills
- Proven experience with AWS core services and infrastructure management
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or similar)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell (bash)
- Familiarity with serverless architectures, especially AWS Lambda and AWS CDK
- Experience with Terraform and cloud observability tools (DataDog)
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container workflows
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure using IaC
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (primarily GitHub Actions) to automate deployments and ensure code quality
- Maintain and improve monitoring, logging, and observability tooling to speed triage and root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, hardware, BI, and ERP teams to provide self-service tooling and DevOps best practices
- Manage device fleet processes and integrate vendor tooling for end-user device management
- Identify unmanaged/ghost infrastructure and bring it under IaC and governance
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource usage
- Drive security-first practices for new and existing infrastructure and ensure compliance with internal standards
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS) are a plus
