Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of commercial and government payload programs from contract award through design, integration, test, launch, and on-orbit operations.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders; ensure alignment to program objectives, scope, schedule, and contractual requirements.
- Manage program scope, integrated master schedules (IMS), milestones, budgets, resources, and deliverables across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Develop and oversee production plans, procurement strategies, and inventory to support time-phased builds and concurrent payload deliveries.
- Support systems engineering and architecture activities including CONOPS, requirements derivation, and architecture trades.
- Track program performance with cost, schedule, and technical metrics; prepare and present status, risks, and progress to senior leadership and customers.
- Identify and manage risks, opportunities, mitigations, and change requests to minimize impact to program execution.
- Contribute to proposal development and contract execution, including schedules, staffing plans, and technical/programmatic inputs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (required)
- Master’s in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or Business preferred
