Sr. Full Stack Engineer II-1
Job Description:
As a Sr. Full Stack Developer II, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success, by leveraging your analytical and cloud engineering skills to solve complex problems for the CMD business. You’ll join a dedicated, self-organizing, cross-functional team in developing our next generation systems in the AWS cloud.
How you will make an impact:
- Analyze complex business problems, clarify requirements, and evaluate technology feasibility.
- Assist in the overall scope definition, workflow design and facilitation of technology development.
- Develop solutions to solve complex problems for the business.
- Work with Product Owner to refine backlog, prioritize use cases and drive team understanding
- Work closely across business and technology teams to assist with integration design, development, testing & implementation
- Collaborating with architects and engineers to formulate innovative automation engineering solutions
- Mine large and complex datasets for insights and conversion to new product features
- Executing a project from scratch to production while collaboratively across teams.
- Communicate complex concepts and results in a clear and effective manner.
The experience you will bring:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- 8+ years’ experience in software development, architecture and/or cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience implementing data integration and API services with AWS cloud technologies.
- Strong foundation with modern SDLC in various technologies (AWS Services, RDBMS, NOSQL, Python, C#, .Net Core, Windows/Linux)
- Good working knowledge for a variety of automation, integration and business process management solutions.
- Experience being part of a fast paced agile software development team;
- Desire and ability to train, mentor, and develop technical skills of more junior engineers.

- Experience with Financial Services and Annuities or Insurance products preferred
Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
