Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Sales Leader to drive and scale revenue across North America. This is a true player-coach role, particularly in the first year, where you’ll spend roughly 70% of your time selling and 30% building the foundation for a high-performing team. You’ll be responsible for building the sales team in a fast-growing market where we have strong PMF, creating the structure and momentum needed to scale.
In this role, you will own the commercial strategy, build pipeline from the ground up, and develop a sales motion that can scale. You’ll work closely with Campaign Management, Creative, and Product teams to ensure our go-to-market approach delivers strong results and long-term client value.
Over time, this role has clear runway to grow into a broader leadership position as the team and region expand.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
Lead and develop the North American sales function, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
Establish clear expectations, sales processes, and enablement that improve conversion rates, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy.
Build a culture of accountability, high standards, and customer-first problem solving.
Revenue Ownership & Forecasting
Own revenue outcomes for the region, including pipeline health, forecasting, and reporting.
Implement a disciplined operating cadence (weekly pipeline reviews, forecasting calls, QBRs).
Partner with leadership to set quarterly targets and ensure execution plans are in place to hit them.
Go-To-Market Strategy & Pipeline Generation
Design and refine GTM strategy for creator-led paid media and influencer marketing solutions.
Build repeatable pipeline generation across outbound, partnerships, events, and strategic referrals.
Create scalable messaging and positioning that resonates with performance-driven advertisers and ecommerce brands.
Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Structure
Develop executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Lead high-stakes negotiations and structure commercial agreements aligned with client goals and company margin targets.
Drive long-term account value by aligning solutions with business objectives, measurement, and performance benchmarks.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Creative Studio, Campaign Management, Paid Media, and Product teams to ensure strong delivery and renewals.
Bring market feedback into product strategy and packaging, helping shape roadmap priorities and sales collateral.
Help standardize handoff processes and client experience from pre-sale to execution.
Brand Representation & Thought Leadership
Represent Humanz at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Position the company as a leader in creator-led performance marketing and influencer-driven growth.
5+ years of experience in digital advertising sales (influencer marketing, paid social, performance media, or adjacent), including people leadership or clear leadership responsibility.
Proven ability to build and lead a revenue function: hiring, coaching, process, and forecasting discipline.
Strong knowledge of paid social ecosystems (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, attribution concepts).
Demonstrated success selling consultatively into marketing and growth stakeholders
