Key Account Manager - GI -Texas

Azurity Pharmaceuticals is a privately held specialty pharma company focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centric medications across several therapeutic areas, including Gastroenterology. The Key Account Manager (GI) will be a field-based commercial leader responsible for developing and executing IDN, super group, and independent account strategies across Texas to maximize utilization and access to Azurity’s GI portfolio through strategic stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in IDN and health system engagement, including D-suite relationship building.
  • Strong experience in Gastroenterology product portfolio management and pathway development.
  • Ability to analyze utilization data and translate insights into actionable pull-through strategies.
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration to drive implementation, EMR integration, and training.
  • High travel tolerance (up to 50%) and ability to operate as a field-based commercial leader.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive IDN account business plans for the Gastroenterology portfolio to drive growth and access.
  • Create and maintain stakeholder maps to align internal and external teams to account strategy and opportunities.
  • Engage D-suite and senior IDN decision makers to co-create value and implement pathway and workflow solutions.
  • Analyze IDN utilization data and barriers to develop targeted pull-through and implementation strategies.
  • Coordinate with field sales, market access, medical affairs, and partner pharmacy to support launches and track performance.
  • Lead strategic reviews with senior leadership and act as the voice of the IDN customer internally.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
  • Relevant continuing education or certifications in pharma/account management a plus.
