About the Role
Hobbes is a self-improving agent that runs autonomous product demos. Chirag (CEO) and Arjun (CTO) built this through founder-led sales alone, with 90% of pipeline coming inbound. You'd join alongside a founding GTM engineer and founding deployment strategist to build the go-to-market motion from scratch. Own the full cycle, build the playbook, take Hobbes upmarket to scale-ups and enterprise.
A company's most valuable asset is the conversation it has with a buyer. Most B2B websites lose that conversation at the "request a demo" form. Hobbes runs real, conversational product demos 24/7. That's Phase 1. The real bet is a self-improving agentic layer that runs the revenue side of a business.
Every conversation a prospect has with the agent is logged, measured, and fed back into the product. Five prospects tell Hobbes they want to buy but need Hubspot integrated as a non-starter? Hobbes creates the PR autonomously and updates those prospects that it's ready to go-live.
We have secured $6M in funding and have tripled since February, mostly on inbound. One customer 2x'd their revenue within 8 weeks of deploying Hobbes. Another closed a deal within 2-hours of Hobbes going live on their site. The product sells itself when people see it. Now we just need to get it in front of the right people.
The full cycle. Prospect, discover, demo, negotiate, close.
Build targeted outbound engine from scratch. Target accounts, sequences, channels. Figure out what works, kill what doesn't.
Shape the sales process. You'll pick the tools, define the stages, build the playbook. Use and build agents to move faster than any sales team your size should be able to.
Feed signal back to product. What prospects ask for, what confuses them, what makes them lean in. That's gold. We ship fast and your input will hit production within days, not quarters.
You've closed B2B SaaS deals at an early-stage company (Series A or earlier), not just managed closers.
You've sourced your own pipeline. Cold outbound, warm intros, events, creative channels.
You can demo a technical product and hold your own when a VP of Engineering pushes back. You don't need to be an engineer, but you can't be afraid of how it actually works.
You write well. Clear, concise, no fluff.
You take ownership without being asked.
