rediem is a fast-growing, early-stage, VC-backed startup building the AI operating system for brand communities. We distill the core principles behind iconic, cult-followed brands and turn them into scalable systems that drive loyalty, engagement, and revenue at scale. We work with leading consumer brands like Olipop, Sun Bum, Faherty, Mrs. Meyers, and many more.

We are looking for an Account Executive who thrives in high-ownership, high-ambiguity environments and wants to build (not inherit) a pipeline. This is not a role for someone waiting on inbound leads. This is for someone who knows how to create demand, shape complex deals, and win competitive, high-stakes sales.

What You’ll Do

Pipeline Generation & Hunting

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline from scratch
  • Identify, research, and target brands in the $50M–$5B GMV range
  • Develop creative outbound strategies that break through noise
  • Cold call, cold email, leverage networks, and find non-obvious entry points
  • Partner closely with marketing and partnerships to unlock new channels

Consultative & Visionary Selling

  • Sell a highly differentiated, premium product in a competitive landscape
  • Lead with insight and educate prospects on a new way of thinking about community, loyalty, and belonging
  • Run discovery that goes beyond surface-level pain into strategic priorities
  • Navigate ambiguity: some deals close in 2 calls, others take 6+ months
  • Build and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across orgs

Deal Ownership & Execution

  • Own the full sales cycle from first touch to close
  • Run structured, consultative sales processes
  • Manage deal sizes ranging from $50K–$500K+
  • Create momentum in long and sometimes complex deal cycles
  • Handle objections around price, competition, and prioritization
  • Drive urgency without being transactional
  • Identify and cultivate champions, economic buyers, and key stakeholders within each account
  • Map the org and build multi-threaded relationships to drive alignment and de-risk deals

Competitive Positioning

  • Win against incumbents and alternatives (including “do nothing”)
  • Clearly articulate why rediem is different and why that matters now
  • Tailor messaging to each brand’s strategy, lifecycle stage, and customer base

Ecosystem Selling

  • Work closely with agency and technology partners
  • Identify and activate strategic relationships that accelerate deals
  • Leverage Shopify ecosystem and integrations in sales process
  • Co-sell with partners to accelerate deals

Forecasting & Execution

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast hygiene by disqualifying deals 
  • Consistently hit and exceed quota
  • Operate with urgency and discipline

Who You Are

  • A true hunter; you don’t wait for pipeline, you create it
  • Creative thinker who thrives in visionary sales- you can connect dots on the fly, shape narratives, and guide customers to a solution 
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high expectations and little structure
  • Energized by competition and winning difficult deals
  • Strategic thinker who can also execute relentlessly day-to-day

Experience

  • 2–7+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS or similar environments
  • Proven track record of sourcing your own pipeline and closing deals
  • Experience selling into mid-market and enterprise brands
  • Comfortable with deal sizes in the $50K–$500K+ range
  • Experience in consultative or challenger-style sales

Must Be Able To

  • Cold call and generate pipeline consistently
  • Run complex, multi-threaded sales processes
  • Sell against competition and win
  • Operate without relying on inbound leads
  • Adapt messaging quickly based on customer context
  • Find the core problem the brand has and sell to that pain point
  • Close deals while building long-term relationships

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to consumer brands, eCommerce, or retail
  • Familiarity with Shopify ecosystem or adjacent tools
  • Early-stage startup experience
  • Experience working with or alongside partnerships teams
  • Based in New York through we are open to hybrid or remote
