Energy Infrastructure Partners LLC (EIP) is a minority-owned business specializing in energy efficiency, electrification, decarbonization, and demand-side management programs. With offices in New York, Illinois, California, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington, EIP combines national reach with local market understanding. Our work advances sustainable energy solutions, supports economic development, and prioritizes benefits for disadvantaged communities. As a leader in clean energy program implementation and consulting, EIP is proud to help clients achieve meaningful environmental and economic outcomes through innovative, high-impact projects.

EIP is currently supporting CLEAResult as a subcontractor on PECO’s Non-Residential Energy Efficiency Program (Phase V), delivering Strategic Energy Management (SEM) services to commercial and industrial customers.

Position Description

EIP is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as an Energy Management Consultant supporting our client, PECO, in partnership with CLEAResult on a Strategic Energy Management (SEM) program.

In this role, you will work directly with commercial and industrial customers to guide them in adopting energy management practices that reduce energy consumption and improve operational performance. You will act as a trusted advisor to facility teams, helping them identify, prioritize, and implement energy-saving opportunities while building long-term energy management capabilities.

The Energy Coach will collaborate closely with CLEAResult program staff, EIP engineers, and account management teams to deliver a high-quality SEM offering aligned with PECO’s program goals, including measurable energy savings, customer engagement, and continuous improvement.

Objectives of this Role

·        Client Coaching & Support: Guide facility managers and site teams to implement energy management practices and achieve energy savings goals through SEM participation.

·        Program Delivery: Support delivery of SEM services across a portfolio of commercial and industrial customers, ensuring alignment with PECO program requirements and savings targets.

·        Energy Performance Improvement: Help customers identify and implement operational, maintenance, and behavioral (OM&B) improvements that drive measurable energy savings.

·        Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, CLEAResult, PECO, and internal EIP teams.

·        Education & Awareness: Facilitate trainings and workshops to increase customer understanding of energy management and efficiency opportunities.

·        Data-Driven Insights: Analyze energy data and track performance to inform decision-making and improve customer outcomes.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

·        Participant Coaching: Provide one-on-one coaching to commercial and industrial customers, guiding them through SEM program milestones and activities.

·        Energy Analysis: Review interval and utility data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in energy performance.

·        Action Planning: Support development and implementation of site-specific energy action plans focused on low- and no-cost improvements.

·        Workshop Facilitation: Lead cohort-based workshops, trainings, and peer-learning sessions as part of the SEM program structure.

·        Program Coordination: Collaborate with CLEAResult and EIP teams to ensure consistent program delivery, reporting, and QA/QC compliance.

·        Participant Engagement: Maintain regular communication with account managers to ensure continued customer engagement and progress toward goals.

·        Opportunity Identification: Identify additional opportunities for customers to participate in other program offerings (e.g., audits, custom projects, incentives).

·        Data Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, energy performance data, and program activities.

·        Progress Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports on participant progress, energy savings, and program outcomes to stakeholders.

·        Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and recommend improvements to SEM delivery, tools, and customer experience.

Required Qualifications

·        Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sustainability, energy management, or related field.

·        Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in energy engineering, energy efficiency, SEM, or related field.

·        Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial and industrial energy systems, energy efficiency measures, and sustainability practices.

·        Analytical Skills: Experience analyzing energy data and identifying energy-saving opportunities.

·        Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

·        Coaching & Facilitation: Proven ability to coach, train, and engage diverse stakeholders.

·        Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple participants and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Program Experience: Experience working on utility-sponsored energy efficiency or SEM programs.

·        Certifications: Professional certifications such as PE, CEM, or PMP.

·        Modeling & Analytics: Experience with energy modeling, regression analysis, or interval data analytics.

·        M&V Knowledge: Familiarity with measurement and verification (M&V) methodologies.

·        Regional Experience: Familiarity with Pennsylvania energy programs (e.g., Act 129) or Mid-Atlantic markets.

·        Tools & Systems: Experience with CRM systems, data tracking tools, and program reporting platforms.

WE OFFER

·        Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

·        Performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.

·        401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match.

·        Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

·        Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays.

·        Professional development and training opportunities.

·        A dynamic, inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and growth.
