Skills
- Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes and service mesh architectures.
- Hands-on experience with API gateways and proxies (Envoy) and service mesh implementations (Istio or similar).
- Proven post-sales customer-facing experience focused on adoption, troubleshooting, and technical enablement.
- Strong problem-solving and incident triage skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming (Go, Python, Bash) is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned strategic accounts and develop a deep understanding of their use cases, architecture, and goals.
- Lead technical issue resolution and coordinate with support and engineering to ensure timely, effective solutions.
- Proactively identify and drive product adoption opportunities and new use cases to increase customer value.
- Consult with customers on best practices for deploying Solo.io products in their environments.
- Design and deliver customer training sessions, workshops, and enablement materials.
- Advocate for customer needs internally, providing product and engineering feedback to drive product improvements.
- Collaborate with account teams to surface and manage risks and opportunities related to renewal and expansion.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ongoing professional development in cloud-native technologies is desirable.
