Sales Development Representative (Outbound)

Truffle Security is an open-source-focused cybersecurity company known for TruffleHog, a tool used to find exposed credentials. We are seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to drive high-volume outbound outreach, generate qualified meetings, and build pipeline for Account Executives while supporting our mission to prevent leaked credentials and improve machine identity protection.

Skills

  • 2+ years of sales or SDR experience, preferably in SaaS or technical products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot)
  • Ability to manage multiple outreach workflows and prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Comfortable learning technical product details and positioning for security-focused buyers

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research target accounts and ideal customer profiles
  • Execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
  • Build and optimize outbound sequences and messaging
  • Generate qualified meetings and hand off pipeline to Account Executives
  • Follow up with leads from events and marketing campaigns
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking in Salesforce
  • Track performance metrics and iterate on outreach strategies
  • Develop strong product knowledge to effectively position Truffle
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on campaigns and feedback loops

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
  • Relevant coursework or training in sales, marketing, or business is a plus
  • Open to candidates with non-traditional backgrounds who demonstrate required skills
