Long-term planning can be absent from leadership, and change isn't easily embraced. At Sprout Social, we’re committed to building a diverse team, fostering an inclusive culture and investing in equity across our organization. By prioritizing equity, defined as system-level change, we ensure that our practices support a diverse and inclusive environment. Our current initiatives include:
Community Resource groups: Members of our resource groups are people who share a common purpose, interest or background. Resource groups provide the space for team members to connect, exercise leadership skills and contribute to our ongoing DEI initiatives.
Training & development: To ensure our hiring and management practices are equitable, all new hires receive an introduction to DEI and unconscious bias training in their first month at Sprout. Our learning and development program, Grow@Sprout, contains courses for continued DEI learning and small groups meet monthly to extend discussions from previous DEI Guild meetings.
Community engagement: Team Sprout engages in the community in a number of ways, including partnering with organizations that serve the priority identity groups of our DEI initiatives and leading internal initiatives like our Technology Giving Program and our volunteering program, Sprout Serves.
Check out our diversity careers page for more information on Sprout Social's ongoing DEI efforts.

What's unique about Sprout's engineering team?
Today, businesses receive 400% more social messages than they did a year ago. As a result, brands are adopting social at scale and Sprout sets an industry-leading pace to anticipate and meet their needs. Our products enable customers to interact with and make sense of thousands of social media interactions per second.
Aaron Rankin, Sprout CTO and Co-founder, says it best, “Every day our engineers solve problems at a rare combination of breadth and depth. We don't have the luxury of only handling technical scale or building a great user experience. Instead, our developers simultaneously solve both for our 20,000 diverse customers, from the basis of the broad and rapidly-evolving social media industry."
We’re always looking for smart, driven engineers to join our team. Read about what we are working on and see what roles we’re hiring for here.
