- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or another STEM discipline
- Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition system design, or electronics test engineering
- Familiarity with PLC programming, test automation, and UI design for test equipment
- Hands-on experience with electrical schematics, wiring/harnessing, and field electrical tools
- Experience with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, DAQs, power supplies, and electronic loads
- Knowledge of digital and analog interfaces (USB, VISA, TCP/IP, CAN, SPI, I2C, Modbus, ADC)
- Troubleshooting interactions between hardware and software
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and implement cross-functional automation solutions to improve test capability, coverage, and safety
- Design and build test and ground support equipment including flight hardware interfacing fixtures and battery management test systems
- Architect, write, and debug PLC code and design user interfaces for complex test machines
- Create electrical, harnessing, and fluid schematics and perform electrical installations and field verification
- Control and maintain network interfaces to data acquisition and control systems and troubleshoot equipment builds
- Lead large-scope projects from design trades through implementation and coordinate across disciplines
- Provide innovative solutions for special requirements and challenging installation environments
