HR Generalist

SK hynix America, a global leader in DRAM and NAND flash memory solutions, is hiring an HR Generalist to manage core HR operations at its West Lafayette location. The role emphasizes hands-on payroll and compensation management while supporting benefits administration, compliance, employee lifecycle processes, and HR reporting in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll and compensation processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Support administration and maintenance of compensation structures, salary reviews, bonuses, and incentive programs
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  • Coordinate with external payroll providers, tax advisors, and benefit vendors
  • Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment, changes, communication, and issue resolution
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, payroll data, and personnel documentation
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and status changes
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, compensation, and benefits
  • Prepare HR and payroll-related reports, support audits, and maintain internal controls
  • Assist with workforce planning, headcount tracking, and labor cost analysis
  • Collaborate with HRD and department leaders to align HR operations with organizational goals
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required
  • HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
