As our Technical Recruiter, you will work directly with the founders, operate without a safety net, and help us to identify the .01% of candidates who can thrive in a zero-to-one environment.


We are looking for an SME and a thought partner in how we scale.

What You Will Own

  • End-to-end ownership of technical searches across engineering, product, and design, from kickoff through signed offer.

  • Outbound sourcing: building pipelines through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent mapping, AI tools, and community networks.

  • ATS hygiene in Ashby: every candidate, stage, and note is logged accurately and in real time.

  • Recruiting operations: maintaining scorecards, calibrating with hiring managers, and flagging process breakdowns before they slow hiring down.

  • Contribution to talent strategy as Probook's recruiting function scales.

Requirements

  • NYC-Based: Excited to work in-office 3+ days/week in our high-collaboration culture.

  • 3 - 5 years of technical recruiting experience at a Series A to C startup or a high-bar recruitment agency.

  • Proven track record of closing 2 to 3 engineering hires per month in a high-volume, high-bar environment.

  • Deep experience with high-volume outbound sourcing across LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and community channels.

  • Strong working knowledge of ATS platforms and a track record of keeping pipeline data clean and current.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active searches simultaneously without losing quality or speed.
