Responsibilities
- Lead and manage sustainability and capital construction projects under the BuildLACCD Bond Program
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and report performance of multiple construction projects simultaneously (5–10 projects)
- Prepare, review and develop contract documents and construction deliverables
- Track project schedules, cost control, staffing and provide regular management reports
- Identify risks and develop/implement risk mitigation plans
- Inspect construction sites and assess contractor performance and legal compliance
- Manage project closeout in accordance with DSA and PMO/District protocols
- Conduct outreach and provide project information to stakeholders as required
- Execute program Quality Management System procedures and document/report project data accurately
Education
- BA/BS in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management or closely related field
- Additional qualifying experience may be substituted year-for-year for required education
