Senior Manager, Accessibility Training & Enablement

LA28 is the independent, non-profit organizing committee delivering the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Senior Manager, Accessibility Training & Enablement will design, develop, and implement organization-wide accessibility education, training, and enablement programs to build capability across staff, volunteers, delivery partners, and stakeholders, ensuring Games delivery meets legal accessibility requirements and Games-specific standards.

Skills

  • Knowledge of ADA, Sections 504/508, California Building Code, and IPC accessibility guidance.
  • Experience with instructional design, adult learning principles, and training evaluation.
  • Ability to translate legal and technical accessibility concepts into practical guidance and materials.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives and embedding accessibility into operational workflows.
  • Familiarity with LMS, digital learning platforms, and knowledge management tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for training development and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the accessibility training strategy for staff, volunteers, and delivery partners.
  • Design scalable learning programs tailored to Functional Areas and Games-time roles with SMEs.
  • Create and maintain accessibility toolkits, guidance documents, templates, and a central resources repository.
  • Plan and lead organization-wide accessibility awareness campaigns and workshops.
  • Integrate accessibility learning into onboarding and professional development with HR and Workforce.
  • Collect and analyze accessibility training adoption metrics, participant feedback, and readiness outcomes.
  • Maintain records of lessons learned and contribute to legacy and post-Games knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor and manage public-facing accessibility inquiry processes, canned responses, and AI agent training.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Education, Organizational Development, Communications, Disability Studies, Public Policy, or related field.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $105,000–$140,000
