VP, Supply Chain

This executive role oversees the full spectrum of supply chain operations, from procurement and planning to production and fulfillment, across global channels. You will lead a high-performing team, shape strategic initiatives, and drive operational excellence to ensure seamless delivery of products. The role requires balancing cost optimization, inventory management, and customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. You will work cross-functionally with senior leadership, collaborating with Finance, Marketing, R&D, and commercial teams to implement innovative supply chain solutions. This position offers an opportunity to influence global operations, drive continuous improvement, and shape the organization’s supply chain strategy in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment. Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain execution, including procurement, planning, production, and fulfillment to optimize costs and operational performance.
  • Drive demand planning, inventory strategy, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) across global DTC, retail, and marketplace channels.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Build strong supplier partnerships to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and implement business continuity plans.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, R&D, and commercial teams to meet regulatory and operational standards (FDA, OSHA, cGMP).
  • Define and monitor critical KPIs, such as inventory days, supplier OTIF, production attainment, and cost-saving metrics.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including technology adoption, process optimization, and lifecycle management from item creation to discontinuation.
  • Hire, coach, and scale high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of supply chain leadership experience in the Vitamins, Minerals, Supplements, or nutraceutical industries, with regulated product experience required.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and evaluate financial implications of operational decisions.
  • Expertise in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred), planning tools, BI reporting, and collaboration platforms.
  • 5+ years managing, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong track record of implementing strategic initiatives, cost savings, and process improvements across multi-site or asset-light operations.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience fostering team growth, accountability, and operational excellence.
