Skills
- Proficient building backend services and APIs in Go
- Professional experience with React and TypeScript for frontend features
- Strong API design and system design skills for scalable systems
- Experience implementing authentication/authorization (RBAC, OAuth, SSO, SAML)
- Production operations experience including on-call and incident response
- Clear written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver backend systems and APIs in Go with attention to clarity, maintainability, and backward compatibility
- Contribute frontend features using React and TypeScript to deliver full-stack product functionality
- Drive technical design, define patterns, and establish operational guidelines for the team
- Collaborate within a product triad (design, product, engineering) from discovery through delivery
- Own services in production, participate in on-call rotations, and troubleshoot incidents
- Plan, lead, and deliver complex cross-team projects while mentoring and growing teammates
- Consider cost, scale, and risk when evaluating architectures and tradeoffs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Openness to non-traditional backgrounds with demonstrable technical expertise
