Territory Account Manager - Houston Medical Center

Heartflow is a publicly traded medical technology company developing AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac diagnostic solutions to improve coronary artery disease care. The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the primary field representative in the Houston Medical Center region, responsible for driving adoption and growth of Heartflow's cCTA/FFRct clinical pathway by building relationships with cardiologists, referring physicians and hospital stakeholders, developing account plans, and coordinating cross-functional resources to deliver successful clinical programs.

Skills

  • Proven sales skills with a track record of quota attainment
  • Account development and program-building experience, preferably in clinical settings
  • Clinical/technical proficiency and ability to learn and communicate complex clinical information
  • Strong relationship-building across clinicians, administrators and hospital staff
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and field/hq resources
  • Customer-focused mentality with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience explaining medical technologies to healthcare professionals
  • Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostics preferred
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage projects independently
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFRct clinical pathways within assigned strategic accounts
  • Develop and execute business development plans with key account stakeholders
  • Educate and engage cardiologists, referring physicians, and clinical teams on Heartflow’s value proposition
  • Organize and staff educational programs, VIP visits, dinner programs, and CT pathway roadshows
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product and Clinical teams
  • Maintain and build relationships with referring physicians and hospital decision-makers to increase referrals and penetration
  • Meet or exceed quota and account-specific growth metrics (cCTA conversion, FFRct penetration, case growth)
  • Track performance and report on usage, penetration and revenue growth in assigned accounts
  • Travel approximately 20–25% from a home office to meet customers and support programs

Education

  • 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience OR
  • 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
  • Preferred degrees: Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical fields
  • Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, radiopharmaceuticals, hospital sales, or medical software highly desired
