- 8+ years in technical or engineering program management
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (design, code review, testing, release, support)
- Experience driving complex cross-functional technical programs
- Strong dependency, risk, and launch readiness management
- Incident management and on-call/escalation experience
- Experience implementing AI-enabled workflows with guardrails
- Technical fluency to work credibly with engineers and understand architecture and integration patterns
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills (runbooks, playbooks, executive updates)
- Familiarity with Jira, Slack, Workday, or comparable workflow and collaboration tools
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
Responsibilities
- Scale and mature operating frameworks for software planning, testing, release, and production support
- Establish design review, security review, and release readiness processes for higher-risk changes
- Embed security, compliance, and operational readiness into delivery workflows
- Create tools and automation to improve coordination, delivery visibility, and measurable efficiency
- Surface and manage technical debt, architectural dependencies, and cross-team impacts early in planning
- Partner with engineering and product leaders to standardize launch discipline without impeding velocity
- Improve delivery workflows and governance across Jira, Slack, Workday, and other enterprise tools
- Own the incident response program, on-call/escalation models, and post-incident continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree in a related field preferred but not required
