  • Oversee production and programming timelines, holding teams and vendors accountable to deadlines and standards.

  • Provide senior-level production leadership across all event categories offered by Chief.

  • Own all operational elements of events including food & beverage, production & design, rentals, staffing, vendors, reporting, and on-site execution.

Budget Ownership & Financial Leadership

  • Own and manage event budgets with rigor and transparency, ensuring costs are tracked, reconciled, and optimized.

  • Provide regular budget updates and post-event reporting to leadership, highlighting spend, savings, and ROI.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality through thoughtful planning and negotiation.

  • Ensure all events adhere to established budget systems, financial guidelines, and approval processes.

Partnerships & Venue Strategy

  • Approach venue sourcing and vendor selection through a partnerships lens, identifying opportunities for value exchange, cost efficiencies, and long-term relationships.

  • Lead venue and vendor research, scouting, negotiation, and contracting in both existing and new markets.

  • Maximize partnership opportunities when booking venues, including added value, co-marketing, and in-kind support where appropriate.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, agencies, speakers, and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as a key point of contact across internal stakeholders including Programming, Community, Marketing, Experience, Product, and local Clubhouse teams.

  • Provide clear communication, documentation, and best practices to ensure alignment and scalability across teams.

  • Manage and mentor junior team members, contractors, and outsourced staff, providing guidance and leadership on-site and remotely.

  • Ensure all events comply with local regulations, safety requirements, and company standards.

What You’ve Done & Enjoy Doing

  • Lead small teams and external vendors with confidence, clarity, and accountability.

  • Navigate high-growth, fast-paced environments with flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Apply strong project management and operational rigor while maintaining creative excellence.

  • Think strategically about how events can drive broader business goals, partnerships, and brand impact.

  • Deeply curious and engaged with emerging trends in events, brand partnerships, and experiential marketing.

  • Enjoy the creative curation of brand partnerships, thoughtfully integrating them to enhance and elevate the overall event experience.

  • Create thoughtful, engaging, and elevated event experiences tailored to executive audiences.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with both in-person and remote teams.

  • Stay calm under pressure and bring a polished, confident presence to both in-person and virtual environments.

  • Embrace a “no task too big, no task too small” approach while operating at a senior level.

  • Use systems and tools to streamline in-person and virtual event production.

  • Remain relentlessly curious—always asking, “How can we do this better?”
