Skills
- Deep instructional design and adult learning expertise (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
- Experience selecting, implementing, and administering LMS platforms
- Strong program and project management skills for concurrent global curriculum builds
- Proven ability to conduct competency mapping and assessment design
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication
- Experience designing training for safety-critical or autonomous systems
- Ability to adapt and localize content for international audiences
- Willingness to travel internationally
Responsibilities
- Conduct role-by-role competency analyses across global operations to define required knowledge and behaviors
- Design end-to-end learning journeys from onboarding through advanced mastery aligned with safety and business objectives
- Build, curate, and maintain a scalable curriculum of instructor-led courses, e-learning, simulations, hands-on labs, and assessments
- Partner with engineering, product, customer success, and field operations to translate technical subject matter into accessible training
- Select, implement, and manage an LMS or equivalent platform to deliver, track, and report training
- Develop certification and credentialing frameworks to validate readiness for safety-critical tasks
- Establish measurement frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick) to evaluate training effectiveness and report ROI
- Recruit, mentor, and manage instructional designers, facilitators, and training coordinators
- Localize and adapt training for international teams across languages, time zones, and regulatory environments
- Travel domestically and internationally to support global training deployments and onsite implementations
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education Technology, or related field
- Master's degree in a related field preferred
