- Systems engineering and networking familiarity for distributed and edge systems.
- Proven client-facing and stakeholder management skills in defense or commercial tech contexts.
- Component sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain coordination experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and cross-functional leadership.
- Understanding of defense compliance frameworks such as ITAR and RMF.
Responsibilities
- Define and align program roadmaps, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery and production objectives across multiple hardware products.
- Act as primary liaison between engineering, product, research, suppliers, and government stakeholders to synchronize goals, dependencies, and milestones.
- Provide technical program leadership—understand architecture and trade-offs, support engineering teams in issue resolution, and ensure compliance with ITAR and RMF.
- Identify, track, and mitigate technical, schedule, and compliance risks; anticipate bottlenecks and adjust plans to maintain momentum.
- Manage supplier relationships, component sourcing, and vendor performance to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Prepare and deliver program updates, technical briefs, and performance reports to internal teams and external partners/customers.
- Implement and refine program management processes, knowledge repositories, and CI/CD/QA practices to drive production-quality engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate Test & Evaluation and continuous quality assurance activities for complex hardware programs; travel up to 25% as needed.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent technical experience considered
