Job Summary
We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a Head of Sales in the US to accelerate our expansion. In this role, you’ll own the sales cycle, build lasting relationships with technical decision makers, and help define our approach to bringing our solution to market.

As Escape’s Head of Sales, you will lead and develop a talented sales team across North America, managing 4 Account Executives, 1 Sales Engineer, and 2 Business Development Representative. You’ll drive market expansion, establish Escape as the go-to solution for application security, and carry 50-70% of an individual quota yourself in Year 1 leading by example as you coach and sell alongside your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives and a Business Development Representative

  • Market Development: Spearhead expansion into new enterprise segments and geographies, overseeing the full sales cycle

  • Revenue Growth: Own and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets in the US market

  • Enterprise Sales: Build strong relationships with C-suite executives and security leaders at Fortune 1000 companies

  • International Collaboration: Work closely with our global teams in Paris and Amsterdam

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and optimize Escape’s US sales playbook

  • Customer Success: Facilitate smooth transitions to customer success teams and maintain key client relationships

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

  • 4-8 years in sales (3-7 years closing deals and 1-3 years in sales management)

  • Experience at high-growth startups or scale-ups

  • Proven track record in opening and developing new markets

  • Experience with international business and collaborating across time zones and cultures

  • Strong communication and team leadership skills

  • Enterprise sales expertise, successfully closing $50K+ deals with large organizations

  • In-depth understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and application security challenges

  • Familiarity with multi-stakeholder enterprise sales, including security reviews, procurement, and legal processes

Ideal Background:

  • Experience working with international teams

  • Background in DevSecOps, application security, or developer tools

  • History of 150%+ quota attainment in previous roles

  • Proficiency with modern sales methodologies
