Skills
- Production Kubernetes experience (EKS, GKE, AKS)
- Containerization with Docker
- Strong programming in Python; familiarity with Go, Bash, or PowerShell
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- CI/CD and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Observability and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Langfuse)
- SLI/SLO/SLA design and incident response practices
- Experience building/automating AI/ML/LLM pipelines (RAG, fine-tuning, inference)
- Familiarity with FedRAMP and cloud security controls
- Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Helm, and service mesh technologies
Responsibilities
- Ensure stability, availability, performance, and security of the Federal region cloud platform
- Design, deploy, and scale AI/ML/LLM infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE) and containerized workloads
- Build and automate end-to-end data and model pipelines for fine-tuning, inference, and RAG workloads using Terraform, Python, and CI/CD
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Langfuse) and define SLI/SLO/SLA frameworks
- Lead incident response, participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, and drive post-incident improvements
- Own infrastructure end-to-end: scaling initiatives, deployments, automation, and cross-team technical leadership
- Drive cost optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning for AI/LLM infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to maintain FedRAMP compliance and security controls
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Relevant cloud or security certifications are a plus
