Senior Software Engineer
Skills
- 3+ years C++ or Java
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and code optimization
- Object-oriented design and software architecture
- Agile development (JIRA) and test-driven development practices
- Experience with unit testing, code review, static analysis (e.g., SonarQube)
- Experience building and integrating autonomy or embedded software systems
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD and DevSecOps tool chains
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, integrate, test, and demonstrate autonomy algorithms and software systems for uncrewed platforms and mission planning
- Provide technical leadership and mentor 2–4 engineers across the full Agile development lifecycle
- Lead system and software architecture design and drive engineering best practices (code review, unit testing, static analysis)
- Develop and maintain DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, secure delivery
- Collaborate with internal leadership and external customers to define requirements and execute software product plans
- Adopt new languages, libraries, and tools as needed and support integration of complex software systems
Education
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5+ years relevant experience
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field preferred
