Skills
- Proven experience building and shipping frontend products at scale
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Hands-on experience with React and Redux
- Experience with Chrome extension development or comparable browser integrations
- Familiarity with Firebase or similar serverless/backend services
- Ability to collaborate asynchronously in a distributed team and communicate clearly
Responsibilities
- Ship production-ready frontend code for the web app and Chrome extension regularly
- Collaborate with a dedicated product team (PMs, designers, engineers) to define and shape the roadmap
- Make product and technical trade-offs to deliver fast, high-quality user experiences
- Own architecture, performance, and reliability for web components and extension features
- Review code, mentor engineers, and raise the bar on frontend best practices
- Participate in user-centered design discussions and incorporate feedback into development
- Troubleshoot production issues, instrument metrics, and drive continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (or equivalent work experience)
