Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing and cost-management strategies for capital and construction projects in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Draft, negotiate, and manage RFPs and capital/construction contracts from initiation through completion
- Manage supplier performance against contract obligations and monitor interrelationships between contracts and terms
- Perform project control tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and project updates
- Identify and execute cost reduction projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain KPI programs to monitor supply base performance
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and category analysis to inform sourcing decisions
- Source and onboard new suppliers to meet dynamic program needs
- Support contractor management activities including badging, communication, and process improvements
- Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices and payment issues for assigned categories
Education
- Advanced degree plus 1+ years experience in engineering, purchasing, contracts, material planning, operations, or supply chain; OR
- Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years experience in engineering, purchasing, contracts, material planning, operations, or supply chain
