Responsibilities
- Design, qualify, and implement product packaging solutions that optimize space efficiency, protection, logistics cost, and material flow
- Evaluate and qualify packaging materials, designs, and manufacturing processes in line with industry best practices
- Review engineering drawings and product specs to define handling and protection requirements
- Coordinate test fits and in-line trials with suppliers and production lines to validate solutions
- Develop detailed packaging specifications and PFEP documentation to ensure scalable and cost-effective adoption
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between design, procurement, production, logistics, and suppliers on packaging initiatives
- Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables for packaging programs
- Support long-term packaging strategy including reusability and cost-reduction roadmaps
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or related engineering discipline
- ITAR eligibility as required for U.S. government export regulations (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
